On August 17, 2021, Inc. magazine divulged that American Tent came in at number 810 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, and we could not be more honored! The Inc. 5000 list is the most reputable ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This list gives an individual look at the 5000 most successful independent small businesses within the American economy. Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000, and we at American Tent are astounded and thrilled to be in the same category as these large brands once were.
American Tent, along with all the other fast-growing companies on the Inc. 5000, have undergone a difficult year provided 2020’s unprecedented challenges. We are extremely thankful that our company’s resilience and flexibility has been acknowledged in such a prestigious way. Even with the COVID-19 pandemic, American Tent has seen a revenue growth of 400% over the last three years. Editor-in-chief of Inc. Media, Scott Omelianuk, leaves us with an inspiring quote:
“The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled. Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing. This kind of accomplishment comes with hard work, smart pivots, great leadership, and the help of a whole lot of people.”

Some more words from Inc. Media’s editor-in-chief:
“Congratulations to you and your company for making the 2021 Inc. 5000 list. For decades, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private companies in America, and this year’s set of winners places the bar very high indeed. Companies that made the list, on average, have grown sixfold since 2016. During a stretch when the economy grew just 15 percent, that’s a result most businesses could only dream of. As an Inc. 5000 honoree, you now share a pedigree with Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Pandora, Patagonia, Oracle, and other notable alumni. Welcome to a very exclusive club.”
Thank you Inc. Media for including us in this high honor, and thank you Scott Omelianuk for the complimentary words.
