On August 17, 2021, Inc. magazine divulged that American Tent came in at number 810 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, and we could not be more honored! The Inc. 5000 list is the most reputable ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This list gives an individual look at the 5000 most successful independent small businesses within the American economy. Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000, and we at American Tent are astounded and thrilled to be in the same category as these large brands once were.
American Tent, along with all the other fast-growing companies on the Inc. 5000, have undergone a difficult year provided 2020’s unprecedented challenges. We are extremely thankful that our company’s resilience and flexibility has been acknowledged in such a prestigious way. Methodology
Companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 list are ranked according to the percentage of revenue growth from 2017 to 2020. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2017, and they must be U.S. based, privately held, for-profit, and independent as of December 31, 2020. This does not include subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. The minimum revenue required for 2017 is $100,000 and the minimum for 2020 is $2 million.
