A 4-way crown is a tent pole fitting that holds up the peak of the tent and connects to 4 poles, making it a commonly used tent frame connector for smaller square tents. Thus, if you have a smaller square canopy (think 10x10 or 15x15), you likely have (or need) a 4-way crown connector for your tent.
